My painting of The Elephant Man

When I was little back in the early 1980's, I remember watching David Lynch's movie The Elephant Man. I was scared after watching it but it soon became one of my favorite movies. I was really bothered by how people treated John Merrick ..... it always broke my heart to read the story of his life and struggle with this horrible disorder.

I painted this for someone who is really special to me. I hope you enjoy your painting, because I really wanted it for myself! <3
