When I was little back in the early 1980's, I remember watching David Lynch's movie The Elephant Man. I was scared after watching it but it soon became one of my favorite movies. I was really bothered by how people treated John Merrick ..... it always broke my heart to read the story of his life and struggle with this horrible disorder.

I love the rain,but today it was a little out of control. I have the whole entire day to myself ..... no painting and I feel so much better! I ventured out to Half Price Books to treat myself! I ended up spending way over my budget, but it was well worth it!
